Deviation Actions
Description
Acrylic on Canvas
Lots of lessons learned.
On surrender: this painting started off as something COMPLETELY different but Muse took out of my hands. Instead of staying "on schedule" and resisting according to what I thought needed to happen, I allowed the happening. SO hard to do in any creative pursuit but often necessary.
On rejection: I struggle with this daily. It has emerged as THE theme I can track back to the ether. Every day in this process, it came up in both bold and sneaky ways which in both #paintlife and real life cause the damage that hurts me the most: paralysis.
Put the brush down. Put life down. Freeze where you are.
It's safer there.
etc etc etc.
The goal here? Use the brush to put that edge BEYOND the critic with intention that life models that action.
Destruction and Life: One leads to the other
leads to the other leads to the other leads to the other
in cycles.
Fire Water Air Earth
Their edges make magic.
Im just rambling now.
Freaking words.
This is why I paint.
